OCRFC 1st team hosted Youghal RFC in the semi final of the O’Neil Cup in Rathcooney on Sunday. Played in very challenging conditions, with strong wind & rain, both teams still served up a very entertaining contest.

We played with the strong wind in the 1st half and dominated territory we were more clinical when the opportunities presented themselves. We went in at half time leading 29-0.

We managed the 2nd half well playing into the strong wind and despite being on the back foot for periods our defence held solid. A flurry of try’s in the last quarter left the scoreline of 48-0 in our favour .

We are now through to the O’Neil Cup final against Crossheaven Rfc in Musgrave Park next Sunday which will be a huge but exciting challenge all support will be welcome
